Welcome to Year 2, Week 32, Lesson 2.32.1. Today we will work on your English Vocabulary. We begin with Fry Sight Words English Vocabulary 10th Hundred, Lesson 2. Please follow the directions and do your best.

If you have a female sibling, you have a sister.

The opposite of singular is plural.

Plural means consisting of, containing, or pertaining to more than one.

The man was unique because he had various artistic talents.

The house has various designs on the walls.

The coupled agreed to get married in Las Vegas.

The teacher agreed not to give us a test.

The two brothers were on opposite sides of the law.

The two lamps are located on opposite ends of a room.

The man was wrong to yell at the bus driver.

She was wrong to slap her friend in public.

The doctors studied the patient’s medical chart.

The students need to be able to discuss a price chart.

The parents prepared dinner for their children.

Maria was not prepared for the job interview.

Juana is a pretty lady.

Her poetry is pretty good.

The politicians are seeking for a solution for peace.

The teacher came up with a solution to the math problem.

I enjoy eating fresh fruit and vegetables.

That supermarket carries fresh meat and seafood every day.

Let’s go shop for some shoes.

She bought chocolates at the candy shop.

A suffix is something added to the end of something else.

Pay attention to the suffix at the end of each word.

She was careful, especially when she was at work.

You must be especially careful when you take a test.

She bought a new pair of shoes.

Maria wore a red pair of shoes.

Another word for really is actually.

I am actually very proud of my students.

Her nose was bleeding after the accident.

Your nose is the organ of smell.

Don’t be afraid of ghosts.

The girl was afraid to watch scary movies.

When you are no longer living, you are dead.

The phone is dead and is not working.
