    This article treat about relevant Hispanic-Amerian person in six specific areas in U.S. In governmental area, Romualdo Pacheco became the first Hispanic-American U.S. Representative, when he won the California Seat in 1876. On the other side, Maria Ruiz de Burton´s, with her novel “Who Would Have Thought in” published in 1872, became the first English novel written and publshed in the U.S by an Hispanic American. So too, Rita Moreno became the first Hispanic-American the Best Supporting Actress Oscar Award, Lucrecia Bori the first Opera diva, Franklin Chang-Diaz as the first astronaut, Davis Farragut the first Admiral and Roberto Clemente was the first Hispanic-American to serve on The Baseball player ssociation Board and the first inducted into the Hall of Famous.

    Hispanic heritage month began as National Hispanic Heritage Week in 1968, proclaimed as such by U.S. President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded to a mMonth-Long celebration in 1988. This month celebrates the traditions and cultures of all American who trace their root to the spanish peaking nations. Celebrations include cultural activities with speeches, food, dance nd music that recognize the political artistic, athletic and educational achievements of hispanic American.
