    There are two words that are similar in meaning but they are not equal.
    These are misinformation and disinformation.
    Misinformation is incorrect information innocently passed. And disinformation is information spread purposely to influence people. Misinformation also is a propaganda tool.
    For instance: The United States social media Twitter has expanded warnings to show the spread of Presidential election misinformation.
    And French President Emmanuel Macron called attacks on the World Health Organization an epidemic of disinformation about the Covid-19 pandemic.
