    Well, with this and the last few lessons, things get more and more complicated. literal translations give way, so learning more vocabulary is important but not enough. Expressions, slang, etc. are more necessary to learn English.
    I can see that, in every way, differences between American English and British English are deeper than I thought.

    The other name for Martial Law is a military government, army rule, resuspension of civil rights, and rule of the sword. When the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain public order and safety
    Unfortunately, in Pakistan, we have faced martial Law three times in the past 74 years.
